CAIR: AssWholliness and Bigotry Exemplified: Citizenship Question

    CAIR published a press release in which they assert without evidence, that President Trump is a "white supremacist". The real agenda in this case is illegal immigration and voting by non-citizens.  Big business and the Chamber Of Commerce want cheap labor obtained by exploiting illegal immigrants. Democrat Party bosses want their votes.

"This is yet another political move by the Trump administration to implement its white supremacist agenda and to drag our nation back to the false 'white paradise' of the 1950s.

"It is inevitable given the current environment that immigrants and their extended community networks will perceive this move as targeting them and their families for government action – including detention and deportation - thereby decreasing minority participation in the census. By discouraging minority participation, the administration clearly seeks to maintain its falling support outside of its largely monochrome base.

"The Trump administration's politicization of the census could have a long term negative impact on voting rights and on the distribution of federal funding for health care, education and community development."

    I call you out! Reply in the Discus comments below with relevant, factual evidence to substantiate your implication that President Trump is a white supremacist. Prove that white supremacism is part of his agenda.

    The only immigrants who need to worry about the citizenship question are those who entered or remained in the country in violation of the law. Legal resident aliens have nothing to worry about from the question. Fear of law enforcement officers is one of the surest signs of nefarious intent and activity.

discouraging

    The citizenship question is not a good cause for legal resident aliens to avoid the census. Your false accusation fits in the same category as the "voter suppression" trope. Illegal aliens already avoid the census taker, one question will not make a significant difference.

maintenance of support

    Is the author of this sentence otherwise fluent in English? " By discouraging minority participation, the administration clearly seeks to maintain its falling support outside of its largely monochrome base." Exactly how does discouraging minority participation shore up support among Black, Brown, Asian & Muslim voters?

voting rights

    The franchise belongs to law abiding citizens of lawful age and properly registered to vote in one and only one state. Aliens and felons do not have the right to vote and should not be registered to vote. Several states have been registering aliens and allowing them to vote in violation of federal law.

    An accurate count of citizens can be compared to the voter registration rolls to detect areas where illegal voting is taking place. Cleaning up the voter registration rolls preserves the right of the electorate to an effective vote undiluted by illegal votes.

federal funding

    Federal funding programs are for the benefit of citizens, not illegal aliens! Deporting illegal aliens will save local, state and federal governments vast sums of money. Let's do it!
